Weeks 6 & 7

Sorry this post is late. Bill and I have been so busy

with moving and getting settled in that I haven't had the time to sit down and blog. I've been doing
the same school thing and Bill has been rehearsing

and playing gigs around town. Week 6 mostly consisted of us getting ready for the move. We moved in on July 1st into our first home in Chino! Most of our boxes got put away on that following Saturday (thanks to Bill) and then we headed out to Target where we used the gift cards from the wedding to pick up some home essentials. It's been so much fun setting up our home and just

being able to spend time with each other. Week 7 started off with 4th of July. We went over to Bill's parent's house and swam, ate BBQ and set off fireworks with the family. Cookie has been adjusting to the new house rather well. She isn't used to being by herself so much but hopefully she'll become a little more independent and maybe before Christmas time I can convince Bill that we need to adopt a playmate for her : ) We finally hung up our posters in the house yesterday which really gives it the feeling of home. Bill also spend most of the weekend trying to fix our sprinker system. He got the front yard taken care of but the backyard is a mess and will take some time. We are also very excited for our upcoming honeymoon. It will be so nice to get away from work and school and just go and have fun in Chicago! : )
